Size Guide

Because everyone’s anatomy differs, we offer a wide range of post lengths and ring diameters to ensure you have the best, most comfortable fit for your piercings.

DiScover your Ideal fit

Earring Length: Measure from the back of the frontal to the end of the post to determine the length of your earrings. MARIA TASH threaded studs typically feature a 6.5mm length, but we offer various sizes to accommodate different piercings and individual anatomy, ranging from 5mm to 11mm.

Hoop Diameter: Size is determined by the diameter, measured across the inner part of the ring. While 6.5mm and 8mm are the standard diameters for MARIA TASH jewelry, we also provide hoops in sizes such as 5mm, 9.5mm, 11mm, and larger to cater to diverse preferences.

poSt Size Guide

Classic studs stand out as the most prevalent earring type, effortlessly secured by sliding on the butterfly backing. Ideal for lobe piercings, they provide both security and ease of insertion and removal.

For continuous comfort in cartilage piercings, we suggest threaded studs. These securely screw into place, boasting smooth backs that lie flush against the ear, preventing protrusion or entanglement with hair and clothing. Our selection includes six distinct post sizes, ensuring every individual discovers their perfect fit.

  • High or Stacked Lobe: 6.5mm

  • Helix: 6.5mm

  • Conch: 6.5mm

  • Tash Rook: 5mm

  • Tragus: 6.5mm

  • Forward Helix: 5mm

  • Nostril: 6.5mm

  • Earlobe, piercing 1 and 2: 6.5mm

  • Earlobe, piercing 3 and up: 5mm

Gauge Sizing Overview

Gauge, in the context of jewelry, signifies the thickness of the hoop and determines the required size of the piercing to properly support the jewelry. It's crucial to understand that a higher gauge number corresponds to a thinner wearable surface.

  • 18 Gauge: Our most prevalent and thinnest plain hoop suitable for various positions throughout the ear. If you choose our piercing services, the piercer is likely to opt for this gauge.

  • 16 Gauge: The second most common thickness, typically recommended for a hoop diameter of 11mm or larger to ensure stability in shaping the larger ring.

  • 14 Gauge: This is the maximum width we offer and is specifically used for body piercings, such as the Navel.
